Caddy’s Corner Lodges Reviews

Great place lovely out of the way park. Overall very good. Nothing wrong and was clean but could just do with a bit of attention to detail in some areas. But I have seen worse, a lot worse. Do not let that put you off booking though. Its only minor details

Lovely spacious lodge, clean, private hot tub. Good access to north and south coast. Yes a little dated, but nowhere near as bad as previous reviews would let you believe.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Home from home comfort and facilities. Everything about Droskyn lodge was perfect. Highly recommended
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Everything was great lodge was perfect for what we needed. Lovely bench outside to eat which was a nice touch. Hot tub was luxurious but not that powerful but we all loved it.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Beautiful clean lodge with all utensils you could think of. Well laid out and thought of in relation to their guests. Lovely little park and walk area too. Very peaceful and away from comossion, which I love and only a short journey to most tourist attractions. Would definitely return. Owners were very welcoming and were available quickly via mobile when and if needed.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Amazing quiet place to relax third time there and will book for next year lovely hot tubs place very clean and tidy .. would always recommend to other and value for money was spot on ..
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
All noted previously but an amazing weekend full of laughter relaxing walking eating lots of food and getting good nights sleep.
Toni - Nov 2023
Not our first time visiting here and the views continue not to disappoint. Its a good base to explore Cornwall from and has all you need for a self catering holiday. A coupe of problems occurred due to a heavy rainfall the day we arrived, (aerial system and WiFi) both of which were fixed very quickly and didnt spoil our holiday. Of course its been a while since these were first available (2017) and as such you expect a little wear and tear and a little tiredness and I am sure that when we return next year (yes we have booked again ?, that a little bit of sprucing up here and there will have taken place.
Tina - Nov 2023
Lodge could do with being updated.
Steve - Nov 2023
Lovely lodge and surroundings. All neighbours very friendly. Perfect location for travelling to each coast. Hot tub was an added bonus
Rebecca - Nov 2023
Bright, spacious and beautiful. The lodge was so well equipped with everything a family would need for this day. The kitchen was a good size, clean and included a dishwasher! You could see the hot tub from the living area which was great to keep an eye on the children. The patio doors opened onto a lovely Veranda which overlooked nothing. The lodge felt private and tucked away, sometimes forgetting we had neighbours. There are three bedrooms, one with ensuite. There were two twin rooms. However, we had one of them made into a double which was arranged prior to our arrival. The bathroom was spacious and clean and had a Jacuzzi bath which the children loved! Overall, the space and comfort was more than we expected, we were extremely pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The pictures online look beautiful however its even nicer in real life! Everything in the lodge felt good quality from the kitchen equipment and the oven et cetera to the sofas and dining room table and chairs. The large cards are bright, but homely and cosy feel to it. There are plenty of storage in all of the bedrooms for clothes etc and all of the bedrooms had televisions. There was a washer dryer also, which came in extremely handy! I would highly recommend this lodge to anybody, and we are already discussing our return!
Natalie - Nov 2023
Great holiday. Caddys corner is well equipped and high end. Lots of room, lovely lounge area and kitchen with large breakfast bar and table. Beautiful bedroom with en-suite. Everything was as it looks on the website. Would highly recommend.
Lara - Nov 2023
Beautiful accommodation , clean and comfortable. Great location
Jodie - Nov 2023
We had a lovely week long stay at Caddys corner lodges in November 2023. The lodge was amazing! Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen had everything needed, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was amazing and well looked after during our stay. Having the use of robes and slippers was perfect for getting in and out of the hot tub. It was so quiet and peaceful on the site and its well situated to get to lots of great locations without having to go that far in any direction. We will definitely be returning!! The only things that could of made things even better was a knife sharpener in the kitchen (or to have the knives sharpened) as they were all a little blunt, and for the main bedroom carpet to have a decent carpet cleaner run over it as there were a few stains that looked like a dog had previously weed in several places. They had presumably been cleaned up in the past it would seem, but had left a stain behind which was just a little off putting when you walk in and see it. Both very easy things to fix that would just make things absolutely perfect.
Jen - Nov 2023
Fabulous, warm, spacious 3 bed lodge with lovely hot tub which we all absolutely loved! The showers were not as powerful and as hot as we are used to back home and the main shower with jacuzzi jets we didnt use as it was tricky to operate. Location is quite rural though with a bit of a drive to get to anywhere/anything. Ideal if you want to get away from it all and enjoy some quiet time from all the hustle and bustle. Would definitely return but its a bit far for us to travel from south wales (5 hrs) and would prefer to be nearer the sea.
Fay Wickens - Nov 2023
Just had a fortnight's stay in the Perran lodge near Redruth. Lovely peaceful rural location, with a selection of decent (well-priced) pubs within a short distance. The park is fairly small, there's a field and play equipment for young children and it all feels very safe. There's plenty of space to park. It's a 3km walk from here to Stithians Watersports centre where we spent much of our holiday windsurfing. The staff there are really friendly and helpful and the set up is very relaxed. The lodge itself was lovely - plenty of room for our family of 4 (3 adults, 1 late teen) - and there was just about everything there which we could think we might need. Bed was a little firm for me. Hot tub was lovely and just the thing after a chilly day at the reservoir. Plenty of equipment for cooking, plus a dishwasher and washing machine were appreciated. Suggestions for improvement? Well aside from a few degrees in the weather, my sons complained about the wifi which wasn't great (especially in the early evening when everyone is trying to use it). A dustpan and brush would have been appreciated, and the freezer needed to be defrosted. But really I'm nitpicking - I'd be back in a flash. Thank you.
Catherine - Nov 2023
Sofas need replacing
BEVERLEY - Nov 2023
Beautiful surroundings in the countryside but not far from Falmouth and other places but nothing in the hamlet to walk to of an evening so a car is essential. The Golden Lion pub is not really a walk away as all single track roads with no paths but a lovely pub and very welcoming. Spacious lodge and nice to have the hot tub, could do with some TLC but overall is a nice stay.
Alex - Nov 2023
Lovely place nice and quite and good location to go off and explore or just stay and relax

We had a lovely short break at Caddy’s Corner. Well equipped lodge and lovely hot tub. Good location for exploring Falmouth and the Lizard
Sheila - Aug 2022
Quiet place didn't see staff ..didn't Need staff .peaceful .need a car to get around surrounding areas ..
Kevin - Aug 2022
This was our third visit to Caddy's Corner and we had another lovely holiday. Set in a quiet, rural location the park is ideal for exploring SW Cornwall with the Lizard, St Ives and Falmouth just a short drive. We stayed in Perran Lodge this time which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay - super comfy beds and nice powerful showers. Hot tub was a bonus even though we had very hot weather. We will definitely visit Caddy's again and would recommend for anyone looking for peaceful, relaxing holiday in a countryside setting.
Sam - Jul 2022
Returned for our 6th year running. Amazing location within easy reach of so many amazing places. Looking forward to returning again next year.
Michael - Jul 2022
After waiting 3 years to enjoy our Holiday (delayed by COVID and illness) we finally got there and found it to be idyllic. The cabin was spacious and very well appointed, and the grounds kept very neat and tidy. I would recommend to anyone wishing to try this type of holiday.
Stephen - Jun 2022
Absolutely beautiful one of the best lodges we have stayed in thank-you
Sam - Jun 2022
The lodge was clean, comfortable and perfect position overlooking horse fields. My children enjoyed playing on the park. The park is quiet and approx 3 miles from the nearest pub, 15 mins to supermarkets and 30 mins to local beaches. Car is a must for this location as no local buses pass through the lanes. Would definitely stay here again
Jennifer - Jun 2022
Me and my family had a great time on our holiday, the lodge was perfect and was just how the pictures looked on line when I booked, very clean. And would definitely look to staying there again. Even tho the weather wasn’t that great it still didn’t stop us as a family from doing days out.
Emma - Jun 2022
The site was quite remote but that did mean the nights were exceptionally quiet. Would recommend for a peaceful get away.
