Tan Rallt Holiday Park and Spa Reviews

"Cant fault the caravan. Lovely and clean. Hot tub was amazing"
Steven - Apr 2025
"Travelled as a group of 7 adults. Stayed in an 8 berth caravan with a hot tub. Positives:-Location lovely. Caravan site peaceful. Didnt use the spa so cant comment on that. Nice bar and restaurant. Enjoyed a nice meal on the first night. Service good. Food hot and arrived in good time. Caravan nice and clean. Full size fridge/ freezer which was ideal for the 7 of us. One double bedroom which had an ensuite toilet which was good. Hot tub lovely and warm. Able to make use of one of the parks BBQs which was great. Negatives:- Felt that the caravan was limited in space for 7 adults. Would have been ideal for probably 4 adults and 4 kids . The four single beds were fairly narrow but ok for a few nights stay. The gap between the single beds was minimal. Two adults couldnt change in the rooms at any one time. In one of the single rooms is a cupboard on the wall by the door. During the night one of the adults badly hit there head on the edge of the cupboard when getting out of bed and standing up in the dark. Kitchen good but again the layout made it small. When your cooking breakfast for seven adults and using the cooker you couldnt get to the kettle to make a drink. An injury was sustained to one of the adults caused by the oven door. Above the cooker is a cooker hood with a front panel. Durin cooking the front panel just fell off. Could have been a serious injury but luckily it wasn't Water power very poor. Just trickled out alot of the time. Not ideal when you needed water to fill up the sink or have a shower. Pull out bed in lounge not comfortable due to thin mattress. The adults that slept there ended up just sleeping on the settee without opening it up. On the first day the sheet given to us for the lounge bed was filthy so needed changing. Not a good impression. Despite the negatives as a group we all had a great time away. We were out all day so didnt spend along time in the caravan. I did address the issues that we had to reception on checking out but i feel that they werent really listened to."

"Lovely clean caravan with great added extras like dog bowls, small dog bed, and complimentary tea & coffee. Nice and spacious for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Great destination for visiting north wales but you will ideally need transport to explore surrounding area."

Emma T. - Oct 2024
"Honestly, this lodge was lovely. The view of the countryside, especially Snowden on a clear day, was breathtaking. The steps up arent too steep, so its manageable. We loved the peaceful setting and the place was well equipped for four people. It made our stay really enjoyable - definitely a spot wed visit again!"
Emily Carter - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the cabin had all we could ask for."
Rachel - Oct 2024
"Cabin had everything we needed and more great place to stay"
Ann - Oct 2024
"Decent experience overall, though the seats could be comfier. Still, it was quite good."
Anna Clarke - Sep 2024
"The caravan was pretty clean on the surface, but the furniture really needs a refresh-it looked quite tired. The beds mattresses were flat and could do with replacing. Plenty of plates, cutlery, plus a small microwave and lockable fridge. Overall, not too bad!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Overall, a decent stay. Some minor issues like broken blinds and a loose toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Nothing serious, didnt ruin our holiday at all."
Sarah - Aug 2024
"It was ok had to drive a good bit to see other places but overall ok and the site was average nothing much to do for children"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Great space and cleanliness"
Alex Turner - Aug 2024

Ehsan - Aug 2024
"We had a lovely stay! The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids."
Alex - Aug 2024
"We recently stayed for four nights in a Dul Us caravan and it was pretty spacious and comfortable for the price. The only downside was the tight parking spaces between the caravans, which was a bit of a squeeze sometimes."
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"Stay on a 4 night stay in a dul us accommodation was very roomy and nice for the price we paid. Only thing I would say is that there is not much space between each caravan for parking"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"We had a really nice stay here! The location is spot on and the staff are super friendly."
Emma - Jul 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are stunning and the place was very clean and comfy. Itd be perfect if they had a small shop for essentials like milk and toilet rolls. Great value, though!"
Harriet - Jul 2024
"A lovely setting, beautiful views. Clean and comfortable accommodation..A little shop for basics would be good, toilet rolls( not supplied), milk, tea etc .Great value for money. Good base for visiting North Wales ."
Eunice - Jul 2024
"We had an amazing stay at Cliff Top Lodge! Its perched right at the top of the site, so super secluded and peaceful. The hot tub was perfectly tucked away, offering stunning views of the countryside - honestly, it was such a treat to relax there. The decking with tables and chairs was great for catching the sun and lucky for us, the weather was lovely, so we could leave the main doors open and enjoy the fresh air. You can see the neighbouring lodge if youre in the kitchen, but apart from that, its pretty private. The little touches like ornaments, throws and air fresheners really made it feel cosy and homely. The kitchen was well-equipped, even with a washer, which would be handy if wed stayed longer. Only minor thing - the fridge wasnt very cold, so Id be cautious if staying for ages. Overall, we loved it!"
Emma - Jun 2024
"Cliff top Lodge was perfect. At the top of the site, So secluded. The hot tub was tucked in nicely to appreciate the views of the countryside. Tables & chairs on the decking were a blessing for sunbathing! We were very lucky with the weather during our stay so we're able to have the main doors open. You can see the lodge next to you if you are stood in the kitchen. Other than that, you can't see anything! It was pure bliss! The homely touches such as ornaments, throw, air freshers etc were lovely & really made this place feel like home. Kitchen was great, even included a washer which I thought would have been great if we were staying longer. I didn't think the fridge got particularly cool though so would be conscious if staying for longer.."
Chloe - Jun 2024
"Great service"
Sarah Mitchell - Jun 2024
"Good selection of gear, though the steps up to the lodge could be tricky sometimes."
Emma Clarke - May 2024
"Good site, would be 10/10 if there was an on-site shop."
Mumtaz - Jul 2022
"Very peaceful and well maintained. Staff very helpful but not at all intrusive. Accommodation was immaculate. Definitely a ‘get away from it all’ experience and would return."
Catherine - Jul 2022
"Everything just fine ?"
Paula - Jul 2022
"A fantastic base for the North Wales, we had a brilliant time. A week was not long enough it flew past."
Joyce - Jul 2022
"The staff at Tan Rallt couldn’t do enough to help you, from the friendly receptionist and bar/restaurant staff, to the guys coming round everyday to check on the Hot tub. Spotlessly clean caravan and site, with everything we needed, set in the most wonderful area to stay in. The family loved their stay."
Neil - Jul 2022
"Fabulous views to wake up to every day. Loved the hot tub. Really friendly and helpful staff, as it's small it seems more personal. Would definitely visit again."
Linzi - Jul 2022
"Tan Rally holiday park excellent location with beautiful views. Lovely new caravan very comfortable, do need car to get from A to B. Staff approachable very helpful.. I would stay again peaceful, clean site. I would of of given overall 10 if being informed on the courtesy call day before that restaurant wasn't open from Tuesday to Thursday. I would of like to see available if need safety shower mat with having two persons with me that was disabled."
