Nant-y-Coed Lodges Reviews

"Beautiful spot, really relaxing atmosphere and no tacky souvenirs."
Emma - Aug 2020
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was fantastic. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it feel super homely yet luxurious - honestly, it could rival a 5-star hotel! The decor and attention to detail really made our stay special. Its the perfect spot to unwind or explore Wales. Jess was so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions, which was great. The guidebook they sent beforeh and was packed with useful info and top tips for places to visit and dine. Plus, we felt really safe with all the Covid safety measures in place. Would definitely come back!"
Charlotte - Aug 2020

"We had such a lovely stay here! The lodge was snug and well-equipped and the hot tub was a real highlight. The bed was super comfy, made for a great rest."
Chris - Jan 2020
"We stayed at this lodge just after Christmas and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The setting is so serene and picturesque, which made our stay super cosy and relaxing. The owners really went the extra mile; they were incredibly helpful and even took the time to call local pubs to check where we could get a meal on a Sunday night - that was really thoughtful. The Christmas decorations added a warm, festive touch that made us feel right at home. Wed definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Its a gem in a beautiful area and were already planning to come back!"
Emily - Dec 2019

Mark - Jan 1970
"We recently stayed at Stu and Jesss lodge and honestly, it was just what we needed. The location is so secluded and quiet, it felt like we had our own little world. The view of the woods and stream from the lodge was stunning, especially in the early mornings. The facilities were top-notch, with the hot tub being a real highlight - so relaxing! The layout of the lodges is clever; you barely notice the other one nearby, so its perfect for a romantic escape. Jess and Stu were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Wed definitely recommend this place if youre after some peace and privacy. Thanks a lot for a lovely stay!"
Alex Turner - Jan 1970
"We stayed at this lodge just after Christmas and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The setting is so peaceful and scenic, perfect for unwinding. The owners really went the extra mile-helping us find local pubs open on a Sunday and making us feel right at home. The Christmas decorations added a cosy touch that made the place feel extra welcoming during the festive season. Its clear they care about their guests comfort. The whole vibe was relaxing and exactly what we needed. Wed definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Its a little gem in a beautiful area, for sure!"
Emma - Jan 1970
"Honestly, we were really impressed! The lodge looked stunning and its clear a lot of thought went into it. The weather was perfect during our stay, but if it rained, theres no cover outside or heaters which could be a bit of a problem. The pillows were a bit too thick for us, would prefer a thinner option. Wed definitely come back though!"
Lucy - Jan 1970
"Really enjoyed the place, lovely atmosphere and no tacky stuff!"
Emma - Jan 1970
"We had such a lovely stay at this lodge! Everything we could possibly need was there and the attention to detail really made it feel special-like staying in a five-star hotel. The decor was so tasteful and it was super relaxing to just unwind and explore Wales from such a comfortable spot. Jess was genuinely friendly and helpful whenever we had questions, which was much appreciated. The guidebook they sent beforeh and was packed with useful info and great suggestions for places to visit and dine. Plus, we felt really safe with all the Covid measures in place. Wed definitely come back again!"
Hannah - Jan 1970
"We recently spent three nights at the Oak Tree lodge and honestly, we loved every second. From the moment we arrived until we had to leave, it was just fantastic. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated and felt super cosy. The bed was honestly the most comfortable we've ever slept in during a getaway. Everything we needed was there, no little details missed. Jess was lovely, making us feel really welcome, checking in with us and being available if we needed anything. Were already telling friends and family to check it out. Gutted we had to leave! Definitely coming back soon. Thanks for a brilliant stay!"
Emily - Jan 1970
"Really enjoyed our stay, the owner was so helpful and friendly."
Alex - Jan 1970
"We stayed at this stunning lodge and honestly, it was exactly what we needed-a peaceful retreat. The setting is so calming, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. Well be back for sure and will recommend it to friends. Thanks a lot, Jess and Stu!"
Emma S. - Jan 1970
"Our recent week at the Silverbirch Lodge was honestly one of the best December getaways weve had in ages! From the moment we arrived, it felt like wed stepped into a proper cosy retreat. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into every little detail, making it feel super homely yet luxurious. The digital guidebook Jess and Stuart sent beforeh and was a game changer - honestly, its the first time weve used one of these and it made planning so much easier. It covered everything from check-in info to local restaurant tips and useful contact numbers, which we kept going back to. Its a small touch but makes a big difference when youre trying to settle in.The lodge itself is beautifully decorated with a modern twist on a cabin vibe - stylish accessories that dont overpower the cosy feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with little extras like hot chocolate and marshmallows, plus ready-made picnic rucksacks and blankets prepared for a trip to the streamside BBQ area. We loved chilling out by the fire pit at night, especially with some mulled wine in a flask, listening to the stream right next to us - absolute peace and quiet, it was perfect! The views from the hot tub were stunning, overlooking the trees and fields where animals wandered freely. Honestly, the hot tub and the bed are probably the comfiest weve ever experienced in a holiday lodge. The cleanliness of the place was noticeable too - it was spotless and felt very safe, with hand sanitiser on arrival and NHS track & trace in place, which we appreciated. The little touches like the fire pit, the sound system for music while cooking and the thoughtful festive decorations on the way out made it all feel extra special. Were big fans of exploring and the surrounding area offers plenty of space to wander and take in the scenery. The streamside area is so peaceful and we even saw some wildlife from the hot tub!We were sad to leave and the owners festive spirit really made an impression - they were bringing in Christmas trees, wreaths and decorations right before we left. Such a lovely touch. Honestly, this has become one of our favourite places to stay and well definitely be back. Its rare to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes like this. If youre after a cosy break in a stunning setting, look no further!"
Olivia - Jan 1970
"We had an amazing time at Silver Birch! The lodge really does feel special - perfect for a romantic getaway or just unwinding away from everything. The little touches make all the difference and the bed is honestly huge and super comfy, just like everyone says. The outdoor area is lovely, especially the hot tub, cosy seating and the fire feature - its a real treat. Everything was spotless and felt safe with all the Covid precautions. Jess was great with her communication, making sure we had everything we needed. Wed definitely recommend it if youre after a peaceful retreat - well be back!"
Emily - Jan 1970
"We had such a relaxing long weekend at Silver Birch! The peaceful vibe was perfect, especially by the Streamside spot, listening to birds and the gentle brook. Really helped us unwind and recharge. Loved it!"
Emma - Jan 1970
"The lodge was absolutely stunning, nestled in such lovely scenery. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We really enjoyed our stay and felt well looked after throughout. Definitely a place we'd recommend and return to someday!"
Emma - Jan 1970
"This place is perfect for unwinding and truly recharging. We loved every peaceful minute here."
Emma - Jan 1970
"Honestly, the photos dont really do Oak Tree Lodge justice - the view is breathtaking and the place itself is just fantastic. Weve stayed in quite a few hot tub lodges, but this one truly outshines the rest. Its spotless and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly need. The location is spot on too; theres a cosy pub just ten minutes walk down the hill, which is perfect for a relaxing evening. We also took a 50-minute walk into Newtown, though we did get a taxi back. If you get the chance to stay here, dont think twice. Oh and Sophie, who looks after the lodges, was lovely and kept in touch with us, which was a nice touch. Definitely a memorable stay!"
James - Jan 1970
"The lodge was stunning, totally worth the price. Well definitely return soon."
