Serenity Lakes Reviews

"We spent a midweek break here in February and really enjoyed it. The lodge was well kitted out and the hot tub was a real highlight. The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, which was nice. Some recent reviews mentioned the building work, but honestly, it didnt bother us at all - we could see the new lodges being built but it didnt impact our stay. The heating system is a bit basic, with no thermostat, so it was a little chilly the first night, but after that, it was fine. Would we return? Definitely yes, we would!"
James - Mar 2025
"We stayed in Lodge 17 and honestly, it was pretty lovely overall. The place was spotless and smelled fresh when we arrived, which was great. The kitchen was well stocked, apart from a tiny thing - no bowls for cereal, which was a bit annoying. We did notice a couple of minor maintenance issues, but nothing major. The hot tub is drained after each visit, so it wasnt hot when we first got in, but by 8am it was perfect. Wed come back for sure!"
Jess - Mar 2025
"The lodges are fresh, really modern and super comfy. Itd be handy if the Welcome folder had leaflets on how to operate the appliances, just to make things easier!"
Emma Clarke - Mar 2025
"Lovely stay, will return soon"

Sam - Oct 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge. The hot tub was a big hit! It had all the essentials and then some. The TV wasnt always reliable, but honestly, we werent bothered. Plus, parking right outside made things super easy."
Emma - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our trip! The lodge was gorgeous and watching the sunrise and sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to help us. Lovely birthday treat!"
Emily - Feb 2024
"The lodge was lovely, everything was finished to a high standard and it was super clean. The locations great and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Sure, the sites still under construction, but its shaping up nicely!"

Attractions Near Serenity Lakes

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Serenity Lakes. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 24 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 32 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 37 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 38 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 39 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
