The lodge also has an outdoor hot tub perfect for spending a relaxing evening.

The surrounding area is great for exploring including the resort of Skegness and Fantasy Island.  Skegness Beach with its cafes, restaurants and entertainment is perfect for a family beach day building sandcastles.  If you're looking to enjoy a spectacular sunset then head to Hunstanton Beach.

For nature lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering rare species of birds, The Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve in Skegness has around 214 different species.  Adults and children alike will love the Natureland Seal Sanctuary making it a must visit for families during a stay at Southview Holiday Park.

Southview Leisure Park Reviews

"Great place for families, breakfast was a hit, just wish beds were a bit wider."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely time overall. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, which made everything easier. The food was good, although a bit pricey, but thats pretty normal for a holiday spot. Wed definitely come back!"
James - Oct 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan felt just right-modern yet cosy, especially with that electric log burner style fire in the lounge which added a lovely touch. The en-suite in the master bedroom was really handy and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of space and storage all around, really couldnt ask for more!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The caravan was comfy and well-equipped with all the kitchen essentials. Having two bathrooms was really handy. The toilet door didnt lock at first, but they sorted it out quickly. The only thing was no toilet paper, but I usually bring my own anyway. Not a big deal!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Our Southview Leisure Park review: Very tidy place, but a deeper clean would help."
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Honestly, this van was a real letdown. It was in pretty bad shape and the issues we found definitely shouldve been fixed before we moved in. Quite disappointing!"
Clara - Aug 2024
"We always like stopping by Southview! The entertainment is decent and the staff really do make you feel welcome. Having a regular bus on site is super handy too. But yeah, the bar prices are a bit steep, so a family night out there can get pricey. The cleanliness of the mattress could be better - noticed that when the top sherry was out. Also, no toilet roll in the en-suite and a few curtain hooks hanging loose when we arrived. Luckily, none of it ruined our stay though. Would visit again!"
Alex - Jun 2024
"We loved the caravan! Plenty of space for the four of us and it had all the essentials we needed."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"The place was alright, but next time well definitely go for a larger caravan. Lovely spot though!"
Jamie - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed it, will come back!"
Jamie - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The caravan was spotless and comfy and the site looked after. Couldnt get through on the phone, but no big deal. Plenty for the kids to keep busy too."
Emma - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed the van, it was spotless and fresh!"
George - Nov 2023
"Loved the caravan! Super clean and cosy. Already booked again for next year. Highly recommend!"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our time there!"
Emma - Jul 2023
"Overall, we had a pretty good holiday. The caravan was really nice and the layout suited us and our dog perfectly. It was comfy, but we did notice some marks that suggested it hadnt been deep cleaned before we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. The flooring was a bit damaged around the sofa too. We didnt get to try the restaurant because of the smell from the cat drains, which apparently is out of their control, but the boat house was lovely. We appreciated being able to take our dog outside since most places didnt allow them. The clubhouse is perfect for families and the entrance is lovely. Its a lively site, so if you want an early night, maybe not the best place, but we enjoyed it!"
Harriet - Jun 2023
"Despite the hassle of queuing in the rain during COVID restrictions, we finally got in and really enjoyed ourselves. Cant wait to return when things are back to normal. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and plan to stay longer next time. Thanks for a great experience, well be back!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Great spot, highly recommend"
Emma - Aug 2020
"This stay was a bit of a mixed bag. When we arrived, one bedroom was a real mess - dirty tissues all over and the beds were unmade, with stained mattresses. Considering we couldnt arrive until 5pm because of current rules, expecting a proper clean beforeh and seemed reasonable, but it wasnt great. The good thing is, the reception staff were very apologetic and sent someone quickly to tidy up. They also mentioned a mattress would be replaced, but that never happened. Luckily, it was just a spare bed, so it didnt really impact us much. Still, not the best first impression!"
Claire - Aug 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay, looking forward to booking longer soon."
Jessie - Jul 2020
"We had a lovely time overall. The sites really nice, though there wasnt much happening because of Covid. Still, a pretty good break!"
James - Jul 2020
"We had to book last minute after another place fell through, so we didnt have high expectations. The parks facilities and activities were pretty limited, which made the extra cost for staying on a branded site seem a bit pointless. The caravan itself was decent and most of the staff we met were friendly and polite, apart from the receptionist who was a bit clueless. The pitch was a bit tired looking, but a quick tidy-up could fix that easily. Not the worst, but not great either."
Amelia Carter - Jul 2020
"Great spot, really enjoyed our stay."
Emma - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was lovely but could have been cleaner. The food at the on-site restaurant was decent, though the chef wasnt great."
Alex - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed it, the caravan was lovely, definitely recommend!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, definitely coming back!"
Sarah - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was fresh and stylish!"
Martin - Jul 2020
"Quite enjoyed the stay"
James - Nov 2019
"Great staff and facilities, highly recommend!"
Emma - Nov 2019
"Great experience, highly recommend."
Olivia - Sep 2019
"Had a great holiday"
Paula - Aug 2022
"Great holiday, lots to do and 5 mins drive to the beach !!"
Laura - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday and so much to do onsite there is additional charges but worth the money, staff are really friendly, polite and helpful. The site has lots going on and lots only a short car or bus journey away. I will definitely be using this site again. The only negative is the caravan only had 1 plug socket in the bedrooms so remember a few extension leads but everything else was perfect thank you"

Attractions Near Southview Leisure Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Southview Leisure Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 1 Mile
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 18 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 29 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 29 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 32 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 33 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 39 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
