When is the best time to visit Stoke?

You can of course plan a holiday any time of year to Stoke on Trent. There are year-round activities, events and things to see and do whether you’re planning a Summer holiday there or a winter City break.

Summer is obviously the warmest month with temperatures around 18-21°C. You’ll save money if you can book a lodge outside of peak school holidays and locations like Trentham Estate or Alton Towers will be way easier to get around and enjoy if you can avoid the mad rush.

The lodges themselves don’t close for Winter in most cases and you can book up for Christmas if you can get in early and find availability.
