"We had such a lovely stay at this place! The setting is truly beautiful and feels really private, perfect for relaxing. The owners were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, but they also respected our privacy. After a long day cycling, the hot tub was a real treat! Only thing to mention is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip at all. Overall, a great spot!"

"Overall just as we expected from reading previous reviews. Everything we needed was there and decent sized fridge. 2nd bedroom small but you only sleep there so ok. Lounge decent size for 2 of us but would be a bit tight if 4 dining. At the end of the day we paid for a caravan holiday in great location and thats just what we got. Some furniture getting a little old but when used regularly to be expected."

"Overall, the caravan was quite tidy, though I did spot that under the beds wasnt vacuumed, which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the place was fine. Also, there was no toilet roll in the ensuite, but I had some with me. When I mentioned it at reception, they said I should have asked for more-no big deal really."

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still very private. Robert and Sharon are such charming hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made sleeping easy. The garden was perfect for our dog, totally secure and nicely furnished. Loads of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted-The Star and The Maypole were great spots. Overall, wed definitely recommend it!"

"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, the location is spot on - super close to town and the pubs, which was perfect for us. The place itself was spotless and well-equipped, with all the modern stuff you'd want, plus comfy garden furniture to relax outside. Its so peaceful, ideal for a quiet winter break. Only downers were the WiFi signal being pretty weak and the heating not being on when we arrived, so we had to wait a bit. Also, setting up the soundbar and Freesat took a few minutes. If only there was a leisure room and better WiFi, it would be absolute heaven!"

"We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well equipped and so cosy, which was a relief on the cold days. The bath was lovely and the shower was spacious-just what we needed. The location is great for dogs, especially those not fans of fireworks, since its really remote. No noise at all from the flight path either, so dont worry about that. Thanks a lot for a lovely stay!"
