"We had a lovely stay at this lodge! The place was spotless and had a really welcoming smell when we arrived - it made a great first impression. The kitchen was well-equipped and the cleaning pack was a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the hill leading up to the site is pretty steep, so it might not be ideal if you have mobility issues. The WiFi dropped out on our third night due to bad weather, but luckily we had plenty of data. Wed definitely come back!"

"We stayed here recently and found the location really handy, close to loads of good places to eat. We mainly just grabbed breakfast at the accommodation and then went out for the rest of the day. The hot tub was a nice touch, plus there was a big indoor and outdoor dining area if we needed it. The only downsides were no microwave or washing machine, which was a bit annoying. It was a bit pricey too, especially since check-in was only from 5pm, though they let us in a little earlier. We had to leave by 9am on the last day because of Covid restrictions. Parking was plentiful and we left the cars there while grabbing breakfast at a nearby cafe. Overall, a good spot and wed recommend both the place and the area."

"Honestly, our trip was fantastic apart from the annoying drive out onto the A66 because of the Pooley Bridge closure. We spent six hours escaping busy roads and dual carriageways, but thats just how it is sometimes. Fingers crossed its all sorted next time so we can fully enjoy the stunning scenery. The accommodation was spot on and we all had such a great time!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy cottage just a short stroll from Pooley Bridge. Its tucked away on a quiet part of the campsite, so its peaceful and not busy at all. The place is well-equipped with lots of crockery, glasses and cutlery, which was handy. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds super comfy - we had a great sleep. The shower isnt the most powerful, but it did the job. The best part? The hot tub with stunning views of the fells - perfect for unwinding after a long walk. Would definitely recommend for couples or small families looking for a relaxing getaway!"

"Beautiful immaculately clean lodge with everything you could need for your holiday. You always worry staying in pet friendly accommodation but not here it was sparkling. The grounds are amazing.The whole site is so well looked after. Short walk into Pooley bridge with enough pub/restaurants to visit albeit they seem to have the same menus. A bit of variety would be nice ."
