Coastfields Holiday Village Reviews

"Really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was lovely, especially that big TV - not something you see often! The decor was charming and the table was all set up with fresh milk. Definitely booking again!"
Emily - Mar 2025
"The caravan was spotless when we arrived, which was great. The furniture was all in good shape, but the knives were a bit bendy, so cutting anything was a pain. Also, no instructions for the heating and the gas heater didnt work at all after the first night. Bit of a hassle, really."
Alex Morgan - Mar 2025
"Great stay, would recommend to others"
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotless and felt really cosy, we instantly felt at home. The sites facilities are top-notch, especially the swimming pool and evening entertainment, which kept us busy. Plus, getting to the chippies and pubs just a short walk away was so convenient, especially since they were still open in November weekends. Being right across from the beach was a bonus and the bus stop outside made exploring the town easy - plenty of arcades, shops and the aquarium to enjoy. Highly recommend, we loved every minute!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Our Coastfields Holiday Village review: The lodge was fantastic, with all the essentials and more. The hot tub was a real treat after busy days exploring. We really enjoyed our stay!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Great stay, would definitely return"
Mark - Oct 2024
"Carpet was covered in dog hair, quite a mess really."
Emma Clark - Oct 2024
"Overall, we found the caravan quite decent. The heating worked brilliantly, warming the place up in no time, which was great. There were some odd stains on the furniture and the TV was really tiny, plus the kitchen light was faulty. Still, were happy to return!"
James - Oct 2024
"Comfortable stay, would recommend it"
Oliver - Oct 2024
"We loved the spaciousness of the caravan, especially the comfy living area. The main bedroom with ensuite was a real highlight. Well equipped too!"
Emily Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, great value, would definitely return."

Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"We've been visiting Coastfields for over five years now. The caravans are always spot on and the entertainment keeps the kids happy. Parking's ample and the swimming pool is a real bonus!"
Emily Carter - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay"
Jasmine - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed the experience here"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Disappointed with the table, it was wobbly and no stools were provided, even though we asked. We only got them on the last day, which was frustrating."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"Great stay! The flat was spotless, well-equipped and surprisingly roomy too."
Emily - Apr 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and very accommodating."
Emily - Mar 2024
"We stayed at the park and noticed that the pet caravan, which we booked by mistake, could have done with more thorough cleaning. The sofas still carried a strong dog smell and there was quite a bit of pet dander, which caused my son to have an allergic reaction. We were a bit disappointed because we expected a cleaner environment, especially in a space meant for pets. A bit more attention to cleaning would have made our stay better."
Emily Carter - Nov 2023
"Honestly, the platinum lodge at Coastfields was fantastic. Were already booked for next year! The staff really made us feel welcome and the place was spot on. Only tiny thing was the pool feeling a bit chilly, but still okay once you got in."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had an amazing time! The location was perfect and the vibe was just right. Can't wait to return!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, will come back!"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Honestly, our stay at Coastal Fields was quite disappointing. The reception staff came off as pretty rude from the get-go, which set a bad tone. The caravan was filthy - cobwebs everywhere, stained floors and rubbish left under the beds, not to mention the floors were just revolting. We waited over two hours for our food and when it finally arrived, it was undercooked. It was obvious they were severely understaffed, but it really affected the guests experience. The entertainment was a letdown too; four years ago, Gary Star was amazing, but now its just gone downhill. The swimming pool was disgusting - large clumps of insects and bugs floating around the bottom. Weve been visiting coastal sites for over a decade, but after this trip, we wont be back. We took loads of pictures and videos, including the pool and well be posting a review soon. Honestly, I wouldnt recommend Coastal Fields to anyone anymore - its well below standard."
Emma T. - Nov 2023
"We had such a lovely holiday! Honestly, we thought the Bronze caravan might be a bit underwhelming, but once we stepped inside, we were genuinely blown away by how lovely it was. Definitely exceeded expectations!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"We had an amazing time at coastfields, would definitely recommend and would come here again in the future."
Billiejo - Jul 2022
"Lovely place to stay staff very helpful and friendly will visit again"
Graham - Jul 2022
"Would go again loved being in a bungalow very spacious some of the cupboards on kitchen area need improvement but apart from that was lovely"
Linda - Jul 2022
"We had a fantastic time. The staff were brilliant. The place was well maintained. Convenience of stores and take aways on site. We booked our holiday for next year before we had finished this holiday. Can not wait to go back."
Linzi - Jul 2022
"Loved entertainment in show bar nice site"
Darren - Jun 2022
"We really enjoyed it, will be booking our second visit for towards end of the season!"
Aeysha - Jun 2022
"Had a fantastic week , lovely clean place ."
Sharon - Jun 2022
"Everything you need onside for kids and not to busy"
Colin - Jun 2022
"The holiday was amazing we enjoyed every minute of it. The carvan it's self didn't have an iron I mean it was a family Carvan but when I booked it the caravan didn't say anything about the stickers or the bands we had to wear for a week. I would go again but definitely not that caravan. It had a dishwasher but we had no idea how to use it But most of all we enjoyed it thank you."
Jade - May 2022
"Camp was good but we should have been given wristbands at the beginning of the holiday so was accused of not being welcome on the camp during bingo. Not great for our holiday!!"
Ann - May 2022

Attractions Near Coastfields Holiday Village

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Coastfields Holiday Village. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 2 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 18 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 28 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 28 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 31 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 33 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 38 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
