"Almost everything was in working order minus the dishwasher leaked but speaking to reception they were sending someone to take a look but we wasnt fussed as just as quick to use the sink."

"Great relaxing break, very good accommodation in the lodges, they're just in need of a fair bit of upkeep and ongoing maintenance / TLC. Main problems were people parking on our allocated spaces, as our lodge was next to a hotel lodge and I don't believe they come with parking except in the main golf course car park. The kitchen area was a little worn and missing a few utensils like scissors. And only one small bar of soap provided despite the lodge having 3 bathrooms. I think they just need a really good refresh but otherwise perfectly livable for a week's break and we'll probably book again"

"The lodge was nice however the bath was way to small and only two bathrooms had showers both had mould one on the ceiling and the other on the tiles really showing wear. The bedrooms were really comfortable and beds amazing again general wear and tear in living area all ceilings and furniture looking worn and marked. Please update things we love it here but if the lodges keep getting worse we wont visit anymore not for the cost they are"

"The lodge was really lovely-super modern and spacious, definitely somewhere wed stay again. Just a couple of cushions on the sofa wouldve made it feel more cosy and a bit more kitchen gear wouldnt hurt. Still, great stay!"

"We had a really lovely stay and the lodge park is beautiful. It was the relaxing stay we all needed. The only thing I would say, is the lodge itself needed a little bit of TLC. We stayed at this park 6 years ago where everything seemed a lot newer. There were just a few things in the lodge that felt like it needed a little bit of love. However, we had a splendid stay!"

"The lodge was in a lovely spot, but honestly, it feels a bit tired. The sunken floors in the kitchen and the battered units really show their age. It was clean, but not spotless. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, perfect after a long day. Still, the place could do with some proper TLC to make it really special."

"Nice location but lodges feeling dated with sunken floors in the kitchen area to damaged and extremely well used kitchen units/appliances. Everything is just showing its age and heavy use. Was clean enough but certainly not spotless. Hot Tub was great although the Lodges seem to been a location that attracts hen/stag nights. Its was ok to be honest, but needs some TLC."

"We had a lovely time overall. The staff in the bar and restaurant were really friendly and made us feel welcome. The golf course was perfect-wide open and enjoyable. The lodge was spacious enough for our group of eight, but it did need some proper cleaning and repairs. Its a shame because the place had potential."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The lodges are spacious and beautifully set in such a peaceful spot. Everything inside feels high quality, from the comfy bedding to the well-kept towels. The staff are genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The hot tubs checked daily, so its always ready. Weve been three times and are already planning our next trip!"

"We stayed here in the middle of January with our dog, myself and my partner and honestly, we were utterly impressed when we arrived. The lodge was massive - way bigger than we expected, especially for the price, which was pretty reasonable for this time of year. It didnt seem too crowded either; there were only a few other lodges occupied and it felt like they intentionally spaced them out for privacy, which was a bonus. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, plus the views over the golf course were absolutely stunning. The surrounding area isnt fully enclosed for dogs, but thats not a big deal since dogs should be on a lead anyway. Our lodge was at the start of the nature trail, a lovely circular walk around the golf course that connects to a public footpath leading to Pocklington - perfect for a peaceful stroll. We made good use of the hot tub every day and it was checked regularly by the staff, which was reassuring. The gym was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed, so we didnt feel the need to visit the spa since we had the hot tub. There are loads of walks nearby that dont require driving and we explored quite a bit on foot. The Buddhist meditation centre is worth a visit too - the gardens and lake are simply beautiful. The only minor issue was the WiFi signal, which was a bit weak at times (they do mention this in the arrival info), so our fire stick sometimes buffered while streaming. But honestly, that was a tiny flaw in an otherwise fantastic stay. We tend to do a lodge holiday at least once a year and can genuinely say this is the best place weve been to so far. Thanks for a truly memorable trip - well be back!"

"Lovely place to stay, the lodges are perfect and clean we had our own parking places which made unpacking easier. The hot tub was lovely and we had plenty of privacy! The beds were very hard but I’m used to memory foam so anything else would be. The restaurant was nice and sat outside looking at the view of the golf course was stunning. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at this resort Monday to Friday. It was a fantastic and beautiful resort and we will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly. We had a warm welcoming and Ken who was the on-site security popped around the site each evening checking everything was okay. He was very kind and helpful. The only downsides were not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm and not having an enclosed area for dogs meaning they were constantly on long lines. Over all, definitely recommend this resort."
