"Almost everything was in working order minus the dishwasher leaked but speaking to reception they were sending someone to take a look but we wasnt fussed as just as quick to use the sink."

"Great relaxing break, very good accommodation in the lodges, they're just in need of a fair bit of upkeep and ongoing maintenance / TLC. Main problems were people parking on our allocated spaces, as our lodge was next to a hotel lodge and I don't believe they come with parking except in the main golf course car park. The kitchen area was a little worn and missing a few utensils like scissors. And only one small bar of soap provided despite the lodge having 3 bathrooms. I think they just need a really good refresh but otherwise perfectly livable for a week's break and we'll probably book again"

"The lodge was nice however the bath was way to small and only two bathrooms had showers both had mould one on the ceiling and the other on the tiles really showing wear. The bedrooms were really comfortable and beds amazing again general wear and tear in living area all ceilings and furniture looking worn and marked. Please update things we love it here but if the lodges keep getting worse we wont visit anymore not for the cost they are"

"We had a really lovely stay and the lodge park is beautiful. It was the relaxing stay we all needed. The only thing I would say, is the lodge itself needed a little bit of TLC. We stayed at this park 6 years ago where everything seemed a lot newer. There were just a few things in the lodge that felt like it needed a little bit of love. However, we had a splendid stay!"

"The lodge was in a lovely spot, but honestly, it feels a bit tired. The sunken floors in the kitchen and the battered units really show their age. It was clean, but not spotless. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, perfect after a long day. Still, the place could do with some proper TLC to make it really special."

"We really enjoyed our time here and the park itself is stunning, perfect for unwinding. The lodge was comfortable, but it could do with some sprucing up - its a bit worn compared to when we visited six years ago. Still, it didnt ruin our stay; we had a lovely break and left feeling refreshed. A few small touches would make it even better, but overall, it was a great experience!"

"Warm and spacious. The kitchen tap was leaky and the cutlery and glasses were a bit smeary after presumably a previous wash but other than that it was pleasant and relaxing"

"We stayed here the 2nd week of January, with myself, my partner and our dog. We were absolutely blown away when we seen the lodge and couldnt believe the size of it. It was worth the money (it was a lot cheaper this time of year). There didnt seem to be many people staying but there were a few people in different lodges, I dont know if this was done on purpose but they seemed to give everyone space between the lodges to give you some privacy. The lodge itself was clean and had everything you needed, the views over the golf course were amazing. The area around the lodge is not enclosed for the dogs, but dogs need to be on lead at all times anyway. Where our lodge was the start of the nature trail which was a circular route around the golf course joining on to public footpath to Pocklington, which was a great trail. We used the hot tub everyday and it was checked everyday by staff. We used the gym everyday which had everything you needed. We didnt access the spa due to having a hot tub. There are loads of walks in the surrounding area which you would not need your car for and could walk for miles. The meditation centre (Buddhist temple) is worth a look the gardens and lake are amazing. One very minor fault would be that the WiFi signal is weak (but they do state this in there arrival document that the WiFi can be weak in some areas) which meant that sometimes our TV shows on our fire stick would buffer. However this was one minor fault. Everything else was amazing. We tend to do a lodge holiday atleast once a year if not more and can honestly say this is the best resort we have stayed at.Thank you for an amazing time."

"We really enjoyed the lodge, it was lovely and cosy. The only small gripe was no dishwasher tablets, so bring your own if you need them. First world problems indeed!"

"We spent a week at the lodge from Monday to Friday and honestly, it was a decent stay overall. The facilities werent bad, but there were a few things that couldve been better. When we arrived, the cleanliness wasnt quite up to scratch - the floors looked like they hadnt been hoovered or mopped properly, which was a bit of a worry since we were travelling with our crawling baby. Luckily, reception sorted us out quickly and brought us a hoover and mop, so that was appreciated. Another thing was the washing machine - it had a pool of water in it when we went to use it. Again, maintenance responded swiftly once we flagged it up. Its a shame these little issues happen, especially considering the price. It would definitely benefit from more regular checks between guests. Lastly, even though its a dog-friendly lodge, there was no enclosed garden area. Our dog mostly had to stay indoors unless on a lead, which hes not a fan of. We wish wed known beforehand so we couldve brought a stake or something. With a bit more attention to these details, it couldve been a much more enjoyable stay, but overall, not too bad!"

"We stayed in a deluxe lodge again and had a mostly good time. The only hiccup was the ground floor bedroom, which only had a bath instead of a shower. It was a bit tricky for one of our guests and we initially thought all en-suites had showers, like last time. Still, the staff seemed happy to help if wed asked to switch lodges. Just a heads up for future visitors, so you know what to expect when booking!"

"We stayed in lodge 9 and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. Had to ring reception within ten mins because the blinds wouldn't close and there was zero privacy. The place didnt feel clean at all-the cutlery, plates and glasses were all filthy, even though the dishwasher was apparently on but empty. The hot tub was stone cold the first night, so we couldnt use it. The lodge was small and the bed was a basic wooden double without even a smart TV. Not worth the price, sadly and we probably wouldnt come back."

"Lovely place to stay, the lodges are perfect and clean we had our own parking places which made unpacking easier. The hot tub was lovely and we had plenty of privacy! The beds were very hard but I’m used to memory foam so anything else would be. The restaurant was nice and sat outside looking at the view of the golf course was stunning. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at this resort Monday to Friday. It was a fantastic and beautiful resort and we will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly. We had a warm welcoming and Ken who was the on-site security popped around the site each evening checking everything was okay. He was very kind and helpful. The only downsides were not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm and not having an enclosed area for dogs meaning they were constantly on long lines. Over all, definitely recommend this resort."
