Tamara - Oct 2017
"This must be the quietest place we have ever stayed at. The only sound we heard were birds singing & cows mooing. We went for a well earned rest & we were not disappointed. The view was great over green fields & the bushes in front of the lodge filled with birdlife coming & going all day. The weather was kind enough and once the sun set the heating in the lodge was ultra fast to heat the place through. The whole place was clean and fresh although the oven pans needed a scrub to rid them of oily residue but not a problem. As we normally stay in caravan park lodges, being so remote, we feel the value for money was rather excessive hence the mid range rating."
Phil - Oct 2017
"3rd or 4th time ive stayed. Lovely and relaxing. Definitely coming back again"
Linda - Oct 2017
"We really love this place. The lodge is great and the staff ate brilliant too."

Donna - Oct 2017
"See above, our experience was great"
Audrey - Oct 2017
"Love this place, What a lovely peaceful site. We just spent a week there and we couldn't have had a more relaxing time. Plenty of wildlife around squirrels, rabbits and numerous breeds of birds.

This is a working farm and the livestock quite rightly come first.

If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the site for you. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff on site and if you need something from them you only have to ask and they will do their best for you. We will definitely be back."
Arthur - Oct 2017
"Lovely relaxing stay on a working fam in a beautiful lodge, I would very much recommend a stay if your looking for peace and tranquility."
Paula - Sep 2017
"If you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation then this is the place to go but there is still plenty to do and places to go in the surrounding area including the City of York. The cabin contained everything that we needed and everyone was really helpful... perfect! We will definitely be back."
Helen - Sep 2017
"Far better than expected had a great week"
