Where's Bridlington Holiday Cottages?
Miss v Soleman
On first impressions the site was not what we expected, looked like a small housing estate rather than holiday cottages but we soon got into the holiday spirit when we tried the hot tub. The cotage was a good size with 2 decent bedrooms. The location was great too, the whole of yorkshire easy to get to.
Robert, Kilmarnock

Date of stay: 25th June 2018
We had a great lovely relaxing break, in a quiet relaxing location. If we had wanted to sightsee more we would have been in the ideal location, but we wanted to relax.
Bridlington was close enough to visit and stock up on supplies, eat out etc.
The hot tub was lovely, and we took full advantage of it. It was maintained regularly.
The cottages had fences between so the felt private
For us it was the perfect relaxing break we were looking for.

We visited the John Bull rock factory Bridlington beach, the bird sanctuary which is literally a 3 minute drive from the accomodation.
We also visited Scarbourgh, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
We have booked to come here again next year. Lie a home from home.

When we arrived at the bungalows we had a warm welcome from Jane who gave us our keys, showed us the location of our bungalow. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. The property was lovely inside, well maintained and very clean. It had everything you need, including outside seating which was very much appreciated as it was extremely warm!

My fiance and myself stayed here for the first time at the beginning of May and we both absolutely loved it. The location of the accommodation was in a perfect location with so much on our doorstep. We visited so many beautiful places and can safely say that we will definitely book here again. We are both huge animal and wildlife lovers and to see so many friendly and content peacocks roaming around was lovely as was wakening to the sounds of their calls every morning. Such a lovely place to stay. I would recommend Bridlington holiday cottages to anyone who is thinking about holidaying in this area.

Spotlessly clean and with good facilities. Lovely private outside area with picnic table and hot tub. Perfect base for our long weekend visiting Bridlington.

Stayed here a few years ago under previous management, was a little apprehensive this time with taking a 2 year old to accommodation which allows pets as usually cleanliness lets the place down.

Carnaby was almost perfectly clean especially considering pets are aloud to stay, there was no pet hair in site!!

The only suggestions I would make are (please do not let this put you off a holiday here if you are considering it, these are minor points and will not ruin your holiday): Ontop of the fire extinguisher had a small amount of dust gathered and the hot tub chrome handles required cleaning.

The accommodation is very comfortable and my only suggestions would be: A tv in the master bedroom (not essential but a nice extra). A couple of corner protectors could be provided (the cheap rubber ones sold in supermarkets) so that holiday goers could push them onto the corner of the breakfast bar if they have little ones with them - the corners of the breakfast bar are at head height for toddlers and for peace of mind it would be nice to have some edge protectors to put on if needed.

The cottage is light and airy, with comfortable furniture and very comfortable beds. Unfortunately it hadn't been checked over very well. I found that most of the drinking glasses were very dirty. Other than that the place was very clean.

Date of stay: 16th October 2015
Very quiet and relaxing. Well equipped kitchen, everything you needed. Very warm and cosy, excellent central heating and loads of hot water (it was cold outside at the time). Lovely and clean, nice bedding and towels, would be nice to have had bath sheets. And maybe some low level lighting in the lounge ie. table or floor lamps,
but overall excellent accommodation, will recommend.

We had a lovely four day break at carnaby , and loved it we didn't have any any problems with anything, but I felt confident enough in the manager Jane that had we any problems she would have been happy to sort it, she made that clear on our arrival . She gave us a lovely warm welcome.

Date of stay: 7th August 2015
Carnaby cottages are well furnished, comfortable beds and plenty of cutlery, crockery, etc.
The best part of the experience is the hot tub which is easy to operate and a good size for family accommodation.
To improve Carnaby cottages the outdoor areas could be more private and better value for money.

We found the bungalow to be very clean and well maintained, very comfortable for 4 adults (2 grown up teens), the hot tub was fantantastic. To start with a bit unsure of the flats in the middle but turned out to be no problems, just a bit strange in that position, very quiet ( except peacocks could be noisy early am but not a major problem they are not something you see everyday so was actually quite nice to see them) We all agreed we would visit and stay here again if we were to come to Yorkshire again.
Dean, Hull
Date of stay: 23rd June 2014
Lovely bungalow, very comfortable and hot tub was excellent. Would definitely go again.
Jo, Doncaster
Date of stay: 30th May 2014
The bungalow was clean and modern with perfect facilities. It was spacious an warm and a real home from home. The only critism we would have is as a holiday including a pet, the open plan garden wasn't very practical for letting the dog out.
Antonio
nice clean place, good location to get to other places. hot tub was clean and was hot for our arrival, will come again.
Charlotte
We loved this stay and would come again due to afford ability it won’t be till end of the year
Paul
We will definitely be booking again
Nazia
The room was lovely about 5 minute drive to the beach and shops. Also nice and quiet, although i would like to add for anybody about to book, the picture of the outside is wrong and a bit missleading as it doesn't have a hot tub make sure you read all the descriptions. Thanks
Charlie
Absolutely lovely little bungalow. Its kept clean and we'll equipped. The hot tub is amaze!! And the peacocks saying hello is a bonus. They are harmless and pretty! Jane the site manager couldnt do enough for us. Shops are within 5mins drive. Would definately reccomend and would definately come again. Thanks
Kailey
Great value for money, only downfall for me was having to leave at 10am following morning. Also there was no chlorine put in our hot tub on the Sunday which resulted in us not using this faciltiy on our last night. Also, It could be improved if around the cottage it was more private, Other than this the weekend away was great value for money.
Alan
Excellent , This was our 3 time we have stayed in number 7 , And we will be booking again ..
Rebecca
Just perfect. We had a wonderful long weekend here the accommodation was clean modern and the hot tub was wonderful. The manager was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Perfect for a relaxing getaway we loved the peacocks in the garden. There was plenty to do in this lovely part of the country
Amie
The value for money on this cottage was brilliant! The staff really friendly and helpful and the cottage was well equipped with all you could need. The beds were comfy and the location great! We would defo recommend to anyone
