We would definitely return, we had a lovely time and for the price we were surprised at the size.
To make it better the lodge itself could do with a good deep clean & spruce up, a lick of paint would work wonders, there were lots of cobwebs everywhere, windows very dirty and black patches in the corners of ceilings.
Shona, Melrose

Date of stay: 5th April 2014
The lodge was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was also very spacious so we didn't feel like we were living on top of each other. My only very small criticism was that there were areas in the en suite bathroom that could do with a bit of attention cleaning wise ie round the skirting boards.

Absolutely fabulous weekend. Perfect hosts. Brilliant communication, due to the adverse weather conditions we called to confirm that the lodge was still available and accessible. Spotlessly clean, well equipped. The welcome treat box was very much appreciated.
Pete and Pam were very welcoming. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want for a short break. There was even a welcome basket with essential items and a few treats. The hot tub was lovely and was checked and treated daily. The lodges are located just a short drive away from local shops and a there is a good pub that serves nice food.
